FRINGS succeeded in introducing Micro-Crossflow-Filtration (MCF), specially oriented to the requirements of vinegar production, in 1978. For the first time, it permitted a continuous 24 hour operation and the avoidance of consumables such as bentonite and diatomite, and therefore clearly improved levels of safety and yield.

To ensure the success of effective vinegar fermentation - in addition to optimum location factors and modern ventilation and de-foaming technology - a highly accurate automation unit is also indispensible.


Exhaust Air Treatment

Due to the intense ventilation during vinegar fermentation, large quantities of exhaust air that is enriched with alcohol and acetic acid result.

To increase the yield, FRINGS can offer you two established systems. The exhaust air condenser and the exhaust air scrubber.

Dosing Systems

Conventional fermentation processes for the production of alcohol vinegars require a sophisticated, external production of the process mash. This is completed in a so-called mash tank. It consists of process water, alcohol / denaturant and nutrient solution which have to be calculated and mixed together very precisely.

In addition, we will naturally also supply you with the suitable equipment in the area of vinegar production, such as acid-resistant pumps and fittings.


Defoamer

It starts automatically and only when required, separates the foam produced by centrifugal forces into a gas and a liquid stream (foam concentrate) and conveys the separated liquid foam concentrate out of the ACETATOR with an inlet pressure of up to 0.5 bar.
